Welcome to East End Fire Company,                                              Mahoning Twp Fire Department.

Established on April 29th 1922.

We are an all volunteer department located in central Pennsylvania.

Our township covers 8.9 sq miles and has a population of approx 5000, with 1500 housing units. It surrounds the borough of Danville with state routes 11 and 54 running though it, interstate 80 to the north and the Susquehanna river bordering us on the south.

Both Geisinger Medical Center and Danville State Hospital bring many employees and patients to the township on a daily basis, multiplying the day time population. The diversified population is serviced by 5 convalescent centers and one elementary school.

We currently respond 4 apparatus, out of one central station.

Engine 63 is a 1995 Pierce Engine/Rescue, operating as a combination piece, supporting both fire suppression and vehicle accident duties.

Tanker 66 is a 2006 KME Pumper/Tanker, serving as the second out apparatus for fire suppression and support.

Brush 65 2008 Ford is a manpower unit with wild land fire capabilities.

Boat 68 is the primary water rescue piece for our needs. Team has received the Pa. Water Rescue Certification.

New members are always welcome, stop at the station or contact us via the website or by phone.

We are here to protect and serve the residents of Mahoning Twp and Montour County.
